President Karzai Awards State Medal to Theatre Actor

Kabul (Office of the President): H.E. President Hamid karzai, Saturday at a meeting, awarded the Medal of Ghazi Mir Masjedi Khan to Abdul Qayoum Biset, a prominent figure in the theatre industry. Separately, President Karzai also praised the two students of Shah Mahmoud Hotaki Afghan-Turk high school of Kandahar for wining two gold medals in the international physics competition convened on May 2009 in Turkey and presented each of them 50,000 Afs. The President also awarded the Medal of Ghazi Mir Bacha Khan to the Director and one of the teachers of Afghan-Turk high school in Kandahar for their efforts in education.
